Trust and safety

Practical safeguards for construction hiring, internships, and marketplace transactions.

Private documents and appropriate access

Private CVs and videos are restricted to their owner, app admins, and authorised recruiters at companies the candidate has applied to.

Recruiter membership is company-scoped. A search recommendation alone never grants access to private files.

Transparent hiring records

Applicants and their hiring teams share application-linked messages and interview schedules. App admins, including the app owner, can review these records.

Do not share sensitive banking information or unrelated personal documents in messages.

Verified companies and human judgement

Company badges are granted by app admins, not by employers themselves. They are not a guarantee of every vacancy or transaction.

Review AI classifications and recommendations; confirm qualifications, references, and role requirements before making a decision.

Construction-site and internship safety

  • Confirm the actual site, reporting manager, duties, working hours, pay or stipend, and written agreement before joining.
  • Ask about site induction, personal protective equipment, supervision, insurance, and emergency arrangements.
  • Interns should have clear learning objectives and appropriate supervision, especially around live equipment, work at height, and electrical systems.
  • Never operate machinery or perform specialist duties without suitable competence and authorisation.

Contractors, consultants, and rentals

  • Check relevant credentials, references, scope of work, and written commercial terms.
  • For equipment, agree inspections, maintenance, operator requirements, damage responsibility, transport, and return conditions.
  • Use written confirmation rather than assuming a platform booking request guarantees supply.

Report concerns without exposing others

Preserve evidence, redact unrelated personal information, and use the appropriate reporting guide.

Submit concerns through Report Issue or Grievances and save your acknowledgement receipt. For immediate danger or suspected financial fraud, contact the authorities listed under Fraud alert.

DPDP reminder

Do not include unnecessary personal data in messages, reports, screenshots, or supporting documents. Share only what is relevant to the concern.

Good practice

Before joining a role

Verify the company, role, site, stipend, supervision, and safety arrangements independently.

Before sharing documents

Share only necessary documents after confirming the request is genuine and authorised.

Before accepting a booking or rental

Confirm scope, commercial terms, equipment condition, and return conditions in writing.
